Frequency of medical visits
The frequency of medical visits for patients with PAH or PH depends on the clinical condition of the patients. Experts agree that the stable patients should be seen in a specialized centre at least every 6 months (ESC and AAF guidelines 2009).
At initiation of the therapy, medical controls should be more frequent as it should be also for NYHA class IV patients or those who are deteriorating.
